Thanks kindly for the response and background info. I do remember that mine were sold under Amark, Inc., as I still have the branded promotional video you guys sent me prior to purchase.
I'm an avid duck hunter, so they're definitely used for sport. Prior to their acquisition, I used to have quite a bit of trouble getting to/from my favorite spots. Unlike some guys who like to hunt from a boat, I've always preferred getting way out into the reeds and the thick of things. Less "traffic" out there, too. But as far as testimonials go, the Mudders do exactly what they're advertised to do. Prior to purchase, there was far more than one worrysome time out in the marsh when a step forward landed me waist, chest, or even deeper in ooze! Not much fun when you're carrying a heavy pack and other gear!! My Mudders in combination with my waders pretty much allow me the freedom to go wherever I want. Even in the softest mud, they might sink in a little, but nothing to get worried about, or which hinders forward movement.
And for number of hours? God, I have no idea. I think I bought them around 95-96? And have used them every season since then. They're beat up and a little worse for the wear n tear, but still holding up. Eventually I know I will have to replace them, but will do so happily. They have definitely served me well.
